absolutely ridiculous considering he made the right decision in the first place and then reviewed it and somehow came to the conclusion it was not a foul...

problem with that is that he "clears the ball" by hitting darida's foot. but yeah, ofc that's no penalty for you...

typical really, for any other team that scene would be settled already, but a scene where a bayern player gets the ball with the tip of his foot and it clearly changes the direction, thats where people ask for a hubble space telescope perspective
keep crying

they actually analysed this scene on sky, looked at it frame by frame, and you could clearly see that only darida touches the ball while martinez hits darida's foot. that's a penalty, no matter if you admit it or not... biased fanboy is biased...

Mallorca beat UE Cornellá this morning by 3-0 B)

The game was easier than expected tbh. Cornellá, while having spent most of their history in the 5th and 6th level of the spanish football history, has been improving quite a bit in recent years and is on its way to become a stable 3rd level club. Their season has been great so far, as they were 4th before this match, although they are expected to finish somewhere in the middle of the table.

Considering their form, and that we were missing our star player Lago due to a 1 match ban, I figured this would be a tough game.... but nope, we completely dominated them from start to finish, and we could have probably scored a few more if we hadn't stepped off the gas during the second half.

Still 4 points ahead of the second placed team, and I'm really enjoying our performances so far. I know we're in a division below this year, but tbh, I feel like the main difference between last year and this one is that we finally have someone to net the chances. It was so frustrating to see Malorca dominate their opponents last season, and yet always draw 0-0 or lose by one (or two) silly mistake(s).

Is it bad that i bet against my own team this weekend?

I put my beloved Swansea to lose at home to Huddersfield.

In my eyes it's a win/win situation.

Swansea win i don't mind losing money
Swansea lose.... Yes it's shit but i win money :-/

Update on OHL;

We've been in great form recently, Pearson is doing a good job. The football isn't best at times but we get the results and because of that we are currently in the first place. Beerschot has a game to play tho, if they win we are second.
First stage of the season is rapping up soon, if we get that first spot would be amazing.

Mallorca will be playing away against CD Ebro tomorrow.

Ebro is a very small club that until the beginning of this century had never been above the 5th level of spanish football. A tiny club with no history that is based in Zaragoza (which already has a much bigger and succesful club), obviously has no fans. However they've progressed over the years thanks to an investment group, and they are in the process of stabilizing themselves in the 3rd level. They've been pretty inconsistent so far, showing some really good and really bad performances, but they'll probably somewhere in the middle of the table.

This could be a complicated game if Ebro has one of their good days, but we should still win. 3 points would be really sweet, because we're about to enter the roughest part of the calendar, and face some of the strongest teams in the group soon.
