Klavan looks like he'll be a good solid option for us at CB. Coutinho, MOTM easily. This lad makes our team tick. Mane, what a player. Was not afraid to take on his player, made some excellent runs, and a well taken goal on his debut! Wijnaldum put in a tidy game!
But fucking hell, can we pleaseeeeeeeee find a better left back. Or put a fucking pilon or dummy out there for all I care! Might actually be more useful! The lad is god awful. Also cannot wait until Karius is back. I'd like to see what he can do for us! Surely it can't be worst than Mignolet!!!
Wijnaldum surprised me in the sense he played that box to box midfielder role really well, which I highlighted as one of my worries in this thread previously. From the 2 preseason games Karius played, he was really solid. He's everything that Mignolet isn't - confident and solid in the air. Hopefully he is back in 2 or 3 weeks.
