well i think you could make a decent case for the stuttgart penalty, adler touches the player before he gets the ball. however, considering we didn't get a much clearer one, it's just very odd and frustrating. where's the fucking video assistant when you need him?

yeah, your scene was a 100% pen
unfortunately we have to deal with the remaining chance that the particular video ref for your game makes a bad call

i mean lewa got elbowed in the back in bremen and zero fucks were given, but i am still happy to have the technology

And now we won 8-0 in a cup game vs Turnhout

Drew Sint Truiden as our next opponent, should be a lot tougher

OHL pulled of a great transfer, Koen Persoons joins from Lokeren. He has been at Lokeren since forever and is one of the better players in the first division.
OHL bought really well this transfer, kind of the complete opposite of Arsenal.

Looks like our season might actually be good, a 7-1 win followed by a 8-0 win, pretty good stuff!

Damn, well that does sound like a really good signing for you guys. Things are looking great so far, hope you can make it back to topflight.

Mallorca will be playing away against Atlético Baleares tomorrow. Derby day!

So, 37 years later, the city of Palma will see their traditional derby between RCD Mallorca and Atlético Baleares. A once strong rivalry that began in the 40s, when both teams would often meet in the second and third levels of the spanish football pyramid, but began dying in the 80s when Mallorca finally took off from being a "typical Segunda club" that would play in top flight in their best years and in the third level in their worst, to a club that consistently played in Primera (while Baleares was left in the third, and even declining to the 4th and 5th tiers). So the rivalry isn't really as heated anymore... right now, Baleares really hates Mallorca while we kind of just ignore them and don't really care.

But now that we're meeting again (unfortunately in Segunda B), things are spicing up again. It will be an intense and complicated game. Both clubs have built really good looking squads that should fight for promotion (although Mallorca obviously has a better one on paper as we have a much bigger budget). It will be complicated because Atlético Baleares is really hyped about this game and excited to finally be in the same division as us, while we're depressed to be playing down here... and their stadium will be completely full and hostile towards us. But still, I believe we have everything required to bring back the 3 points to the other side of Palma. Whatever happens, I'm really looking forward to this, as it will be my first ever Palma derby. Hope one day I can see one in a higher division.
