Few points:

1. Wijnaldum as a defensive midfielder? It could only work if you've got a true defensive midfielder next to him, like Matic or Wanyama. I feel like Can is slightly more of a box to box midfielder so it would worry me that he'd be the most 'defensive' midfielder on the pitch.

2. Moreno? We need a left back BADLY.

3. With Sakho's injury I'd like to see Klavan play a few games, think him and Lovren could be a good partnership...

4. I assume Ings is the primary substitute option for Sturridge in case of injury? I'm still undecided whether we need a striker or not...I guess since Firmino can play there and then Wijnaldum can slot in the attacking mid position, we've got Sturridge Firmino Ings and Origi that can play upfront. Not bad.

5. Overall I'm unsure what to make of our current signings. I think they're all good players, but is that enough? They are the same type of signings Rodgers would have made. Still, I have optimism for the upcoming season, given that we get a solid left back!

No idea how Klopp is going to get each player into the team. One of our most consistent players from last season, but can't see him starting over Can or Wijnaldum.

Only other place is as the attacking midfielder no? Not entirely sure what his natural position is. But to accommodate Mane, would need to do a shuffle. Another option is having Firmino/Sturridge upfront with Mane on the right, Wijnaldum as the CAM, and Coutinho playing from the left.

As for cover up front, I think we'll be OK. Sturridge, with Ings, Origi and Firmino all being able to slot in. I hope we're working on a deal for that Jonas Hector. Think he'd be a good addition for left back. Would make the team pretty solid in all areas.

Cant wait to watch some pool matches with Wijnaldum in. I hope he will do well and score a lot of goals. And I think he will.
