Guys has anyone deleted their club before and made a new one? Does it totally reset your stats/division etc?

Ive had a bunch of bad luck in the past with EA disconnecting me and now i only get 400coins per win, and also quite stuck in division 2.

Im tempted to sell all my players for coins, send the coins to a friends account, delete my club and start a fresh club and get him to send me my coins back and start again in div 10.

Am i missing anything or is that possible?
