After watching both these championship playoff matches, whoever comes up from them is going straight back down next season. Really fucking dire. :/

home game vs leverkusen tomorrow
they cannot get relegated anymore and they fired their coach 1 match before the season ends
we need atleast 1 point to stay on the EL spots. if we win we are 100% in EL groupstage

bayern - freiburg
köln - mainz

and if dortmund wins the cup final vs frankfurt the 7th will be EL qualification and 6th is EL groupstage aswell

Mallorca will be playing home against Almería tomorrow.

Decisive game. Almería are 6 points ahead and also fighting to avoid relegation, losing to them would be game over. It's going to be an intense and tough game... they're in good form after sacking their manager and have collected 20 points in the last 11 games. We'll have to give our best, because a win is a must!

0/21 for Adams, lucky for him the season is over ^^

Looks like Granada realized he wasn't the right man for the job and instead of offering him to remain as manager he's apparently going to work as director of football for the club, and a new manager will take over. Let's see if he's more suited for that position...

well, not unexpected we suffered another loss (0:2) at cologne, but it wasn't a terrible performance and gladly we were basically safe already.
very mediocre season overall, especially the second half was awful. obviously it would be too simple to blame it all on ONE man, but losing our key player (malli) mid season visibly hurt us.

the good thing about such a bad season is that not too many clubs will be raiding us for our best players.

offensively, i think we're looking good. öztunali, muto, cordoba, jairo, and de blasis are all players i rate and hope we will keep.
defensively we definitely need to improve though. our back line is too vulnerable, we could definitely do with an experienced centre back to lead our defense. also, both our goalkeepers aren't even close to what karius was for us last season.

our best hope is to sign one or two experienced and not too expensive players, otherwise keep the main players of our squad, and hope that injuries won't plague us as bad as they did this season and i'm confident we can play another solid year in bundesliga.
also, i'm glad we stuck to our manager when things got tight towards the business end of the season. i really like him and don't blame him at all for the bad results and performances...
