yeah, i recently read something about sunderland never being above 16th for like 2 years

1-2 vs. gladbach, very bad performance from my boys, deserved loss.
it's getting really fucking tense, all the teams everybody thought were certainly relegated already suddenly start winning, and we just can't seem to string two decent matches together...

i still believe mainz will survive

well i still hope so ofc. nothing is lost yet and we're not in the worst position all things considered. then again, we don't have much (or any) experience fighting relegation, lost a key player mid season that hasn't been adequately replaced by the new signing in the slightest, and still have some tricky fixtures coming up:

- away at hamburg who also battle against relegation
- our last home match against your boys who still have a good chance to make it into the EL, and it's a derby anyway
- away at cologne who are also still in the race for a european spot

Mallorca will be playing away against Sevilla's b team tomorrow.

Not expecting anything at this point tbh. Several players seem to have given up saying stuff judging by their words on the press... just shows that the new manager is not only a bad tactician as I already knew, but awful at working on the team's mentality. Oh well, hope I'm wrong and a miracle happens... for now we'll have to try and beat a team that has only lost one home game this season...
