Atlético has been doing a good job this summer. Selling players for decent amounts and making good looking signing. Griezmann+Mandzukic is far better than Villa+Costa imo.

And this is a lot of money for la Real. They already made a lot last season by selling Illarra, and now they are getting 30M for Griezmann. If they use the money well they can keep growing... selling their stars for millions year  after year is what allowed Atlético to step up after all. However, their manager doesn't really convince me. They could have done better last season... with Montanier they would have done much better in the CL imo.


I can't understand why don't you like Diego Costa, he has been the very best player of the Atlético by far.

Without him they would not have reached the CL final nor la Liga (even the 4th place).

Would say it was more Courtois, godin, luis etc

Man I have watch more than 40 matches of Atlético this year, how much have you seen? 1? 0,5? champions league final maybe?

Filippe Luis #1 LB in the world last year imo.

I've watched a decent amount of Atletico matches since there are 2 belgians playing in the team.

Luis has been a great defender troughout the season, doesn't take many braincells to realize that.
Godin is probably one of the best players in the air, scored many important headers.
Courtois is without a doubt one of the best keepers in the world (next to Neuer) and he showed that troughout the season aswell.


If you have watched 40 matches of Atletico and you haven't realized this, I feel sorry for you

I think Diego Costa is a good striker... I just like Mandzukic more.

Also, I wouldn't say he has been the best player for Atlético at all. Atlético has done really well even when he was injured. Courtois and the midfield (mainly Raúl García, Koke and Gabi) have been the most important part of the team.

R. Garcia + Koke + Gabi have been really good but most of them have not even called up for the national team.

Courtois + Diego Costa have been 2/3 of Atlético.
