The plane had enough fuel for the trip in normal circumstances. However they had to adjust the landing because of another aircraft having to do emergency landing ahead of it. And because of the reasons you listed, the aircraft didn't have enough extra fuel to circle around while waiting for landing authorization. Basically crashing 5 minutes from landing... So fucking disgraceful.

Yeah, that's true, but they would have been fine if they had contacted flight control as soon as their 30 minute emergency fuel began kicking in. Flight control would have had enough time to set up a landing spot for them either in that airport or in a different yet nearby location.

You can here in the audio recordings how even after they are told to wait, they still refuse to declare that they are in an emergency; they just resort to pressure them by saying that they are low on fuel and that they need a landing spot asap. It's only at then end when they are desperate that they say it's an emergency.

Is this shit for real ? If so, joke competition.

I mean its regretable that it happened, but the competitions should be won by playing on pitch not dropping from mid air.

ofc not, CONMEBOL said days ago that they wouldn't make such a decision during such a difficult moment, and that they'd let some time pass before deciding on what to do

afaik it's just Brazilian media saying they will, probably to pressure CONMEBOL into doing so... if they create the expectation that they are going to be crowned champions, the people will see CONMEBOL as insensitive jackasses if they don't

Atlético Nacional announced that even if CONMEBOl demanded a new game they would score own goals. They said many times that the title should be given to chapecoense.

Futhermore, the announcement isn't official yet and they will have to wait till december 21 because all the bureaucratic process involved ...

Apparently CONMEBOL could not give Chapeco the title because it guarantees a spot at the Libertadores. This would just create another problem.
