I definitely cannot see a midfield 3 involving Pjanic and Isco, that team would get ran through
Matuidi is more interesting but I also don't see it

Marchisio will be back by the end of October and take his rightful place

Allegri sees pjanic as a CDM
Matuidi is unlikely to leave PSG as the president wants to keep him there
Isco is interesting because he can play as CAM, he has such sweet touches, now that Pogba is gone, they need more creativity in the center

But Isco would basically require a formation change away from the 3-5-2 and the squad is just completely built for that formation
I wouldn't be upset if Isco is signed, he's a big talent but I just can't see it, at the same time

It isn't the first time we've been linked with him after all

I agree with what your saying... 3-5-2 is the fundamental formation of juve and italy as well... However with the signings (dani alves and pjaca specifically) allegri can play with a little versatility... Ideally the man to replace Pogba is Verratti (whom I think is even better), however he is happy at PSG, nevertheless im sure juve sporting director is gonna snatch him up summer 2017. What do you think?

Verratti is a dream signing but he is very happy at PSG and they know the type of player he is as well. He extended his contract this year I believe until 2020, I could see us signing him in 2019 or 2020.

It's possible but he would really have to push the issue himself and force a move, but I'm with you, it would be a dream signing and he's one of my favourite players

didnt watch much of Pereyra since he was brought at juve, but watched his first few 3-5 games and he looked more than capable of holding a midfield.

Overall i would be putting him in blindly over Lemina.

How was he throughout the season ?

I was always a fan of pereyra. I dont know why he dont get more play-time.

In the season 14/15 he was a very important player in the squad imo

He really suffered with injuries last season and I don't think anyone is sure of his best position yet

Playing Pjanic, Pereyra and Khedira is just really offensive minded
Pereyra may even leave but I do think he is a talented player so we'll see what happens. He reminds me a bit of Di Maria mixed with a bit of Vidal but he needs to work on his end product a bit more

Biggest problem. He's overall decent, but he lacks the specific qualities needed on basically every possible position to make it into the starting squad or in general to become a more acknowledged football player.

He's too offensive minded to play as sole CDM, especially when you add to that fact his only mediocre tackling/interception skills.
Then again, he's way too weak in decision-making and many of his passes (or in general: of his games) look too sloppy to be a better CAM or offensive-minded CM.
He really doesn't shine in any of the more central positions and his lack of pace and 1vs1 skills disqualify him from being a proper winger.
Add to that his general inconsistency in performances and several underwhelming games like when he came on vs. Bayern in CL and you'll come to the conclusion that he'll never be able to become anything more than a praised backup-player for Juve.

Very good points and I agree with them all. He's a nice wildcard off the bench but at the moment he isn't much more than that. I like his energy and his work rate offensively but he doesn't add much and he's not the smartest player

I could see him as a decent box to box player but a midfield of Pereyra-Pjanic-Khedira would get steamrolled

Khedira and Pjanic must play, Khedira is just too damn smart and Pjanic will be the creative outlet of the team, I really think even someone like Sturaro next to both would be fantastic, he could be that "Gattuso" that is needed to do the defensive work (until Marchisio returns)
