Great dribbler and decent shooting technique, but kind of slow for a winger and only slightly-above-average footballer in general imo.

This type of player winning such an award just proves my point of 95% of BPL teams seeming like they've never even heard of tactical defending... sending their poor semi-decent defenders after him one by one, falling prey to like 2-3 simple feints over and over again, while 3 others just stand there watching and not seeming like they even have defensive duties.

No greater team like Barcelona, Real, Bayern, Atletico etc. will ever offer big money for him imo and rightfully so.
He'll either stay with Leicester (which would be great, as I hope they can keep that squad together for UCL) or be bought for a ridiculous amount of money by a bigger BPL club (more likely, seeing how Tottenham is obviously showing interest in a complete failure like Schürrle to get their squad ready for UCL... just sad^^), before being forgotten in like 2 or 3 years.

i agree his speed is not exactly impressive, but he makes up for it with great creativity in tight spaces

rest is true though, i would like to see him playing against a decent german team, where he will have 3 guys shutting him down for 90 minutes

schürrle is just playing in the wrong team, i wouldnt mind him at bayern ^_^

Why is kalou doing better than he did at chelsea in the bundesliga at the age of 30?
Why is suarez scoring more goals in bbva than in the prem?

If you look at the leagues it's much harder to score and the defending in the bpl>>bbva,bundesliga. So is ur only argument saying serie a has better defense, or??
