We honestly don't deserve to go either. Players who don't have the real desire to win, the youth system is all wrong atm or something. The technique is not that bad, but there's no real defenders left, cause even defenders here get judged on their technique. You can't tell me there's not another type Jaap Stam running around on the youth pitches, who just has that killer mentality to win games. That's something we're severely lacking.

I'm honestly shocked to see these kind of performances from Balkan countries, especially Croatia. We all have good players in clubs but they just dont do it for the national team, very frustrating to see.

wtf? the dutch are trying to prove my theory wrong that no decent team would even remotely struggle to qualify in this stupid mode... i WANT them to qualify or at least reach the play offs - not the f*cking turks!

what? ofc you are! you're obviously having a bad phase atm (not following your team that closely so i can't tell why, maybe it's the coach, maybe the players aren't motivated) but just looking at the names of the players you have and compare them to teams like turkey, iceland and even the czech republic... you are definitely more than decent and should still make it...

watching them today made me wonder though
even if they do finish 3rd, i dont see them winning in the playoffs xd

I don't know though, once you take out Robben then they are really missing a superstar, I mean one could make a case for Sneijder or Memphis, but I guess they should still be destroying C. Republic and Turkey.

They have a good team, but they're young and very raw.


An okay(ish) keeper
a shitty defense/defensive mids
an abundance of incredibly promising attacking mids/wingers
an out of form Van Persie and an aging Huntelaar. I don't really know who that De Jong character is, but I'm sure he's good he scored quite a bit last year iirc.
