Well this depends. I rate Ronaldo higher than Klose when considering who was the best striker in WC history.

Ronaldo only scored 1 goal less than Klose, while playing 5 games less (so he has a significantly better goal scoring ratio). He also scored the majority of his goals in the ko stages, while Klose only scored 5 of his 16 goals (around 30%) outside the group stages. Plus Ronaldo's goals were much more significant than Klose's on their team's way to the title.

These things give Ronaldo the edge over him imo.

nobody ever denied that he is a classic poacher with his tap ins
but among the best at that
cr7 scores shitloads of easy goals as well and no one complains about that

sure fat ronaldo was a better player overall, but his record is gone
