Germunz trying to put pressure on their team to make things harder. Despicable, really. Low is being attacked by almost any random, the lower the football knowledge, the more virulent the attack. B)

götze was as shitty as özil, maybe even worse. he has reached the kagawa status already by leaving klopp. destroyed his career by going for the money.

not sure if klose is a reliable option for 90 or 120 min. if yes, you could probably bench özil.

klose is a good professional and it even if he cant go 90 minutes, he will do his best
70min or something and you can sub him for götze to hold the ball for example

@b4al

you are right about müller
everything upfront is his doing so far
and we cant expect to score every chance he gets ^^
we need to create more chances and need more players that threaten the goal

when schürrle came in the game was better

you are too harsh on some players you listed
some of the best players in our squad are out for the wc

we name it a golden generation, because there has never been a better german team individually in history
and the good thing is that they also work as a team and we can be very flexible in our game

löw destroys that with his bullshit tactics and by leaving the best players on some positions out

I agree, he's playing way to many players out of position. Could be a reason why Özil isn't performing, since he needs a solid team next to him that performs aswell.
Mustafi had a terrible wc so far, and I'm not confident about Howedes either. If you look at the half time stats, you saw that MERTESACKER had the most ball possesion and had to do the most passes.
So Löw is relying on MERTESACKER to make the play? Absolutely unbelievable.

Has Germany ever considered playing in a 3-5-2 esque formation? Use Lahm as a sort of RWB, Boateng and hummels left and right centrebacks with Per in the middle, Durm perhaps as lwb?

There, he strikes again.

Seriously, mate, why do you even watch football ?

Why not Müller as winger and Klose as spearhead? Why not Lahm as CB and Khedira as controlling mid?

exactly. it's so obvious (lahm as fb of course, cb = centreback) - and so easy to change too. we all have seen what happened when a proper winger (schürrle) and was introduced, mustafi got injured and lahm put on the position he's one of the world's best at? suddenly we seized control of the game...
but this idiot of a coach just wants to do it his way, he has a "vision" and no matter how bad we play he just sticks to his plan, doesn't make the changes. i'm serious about my statement that it's unfortunate our players are just too good and our opponents so far just too weak for us to get punished and for löw to get exposed... now it's too late because we're in the quarters once again...

and i fully understand mertesucker's outburst from yesterday (basically, he got mad at a reporter who correctly stated that it didn't look very skillful or confident) - it's not the players' fault ffs! if the coach doesn't play them to their strengths and basically puts blanks on such crucial positions in modern football like the fullbacks - what do you expect? why don't these retarded journalists stop sucking löw's dick and ask HIM why he makes such bullshit personal and tactical decisions?!

we played a proper 3-5-2 in a test match vs. ukraine back in 2011 and it failed horribly, the game ended 3:3 and literally every single counter attack was a goal. also we dont even have enough proper centre backs to form a worldclass back four so i would not support the idea...

Low trying to act like van Gaal by playing players out of their positions

oh yes, he always tries to imitate better and great coaches, his false 9 idea and possession obsession from spain, playing players out of position like that from van gaal and guardiola, the 3-5-2 from juve iirc... and mostly it fails horribly...

one more word about mustafi: i don't hate the guy personally. i'm sure he's been giving his best and i don't blame him for his bad performances. the point is: he's not a fullback, he's a centre back. he was trained as cb, he exclusively plays that position for his clubs and to be quite honest, he runs, dribbles, passes and crosses like a centre back. and none of this is his fault.
if the coach says "listen, mustafi - you play right back" i understand that he doesn't just say "but coach, there are players here who actually learned how to play that position, who can run, pass and cross properly and had a good season for a better club than mine, why don't you give them a chance first?" - no, he wants to prove himself and is glad to play for germany, completely understandable.
but for löw to be so stubborn and arrogant and let him do that in 3 games just to prove he was right to pick him is just ridiculous and honestly it's not only unfair towards the fullbacks but also to mustafi himself.
the guy is out of the tournament (i.e. the france game) due to injury now and of course i'm not glad about his injury (or any player's injury for that matter, i know how it feels and it's really the worst feeling in the world) but given löw's stubbornness i have to say it's the best thing that could have happened to the team - unfortunately...

I see, thanks for replying.
I was simply wondering since we saw so many teams in this wc using that formation which can be turned into a 5 back within the blink of an eye.

Is there any reason why Durm isn't playing?

Schurrle almost missed that one, and he was required to have a simple tap-in.

The best players germany has are injured : Gundogan, sven bender, reus. That`s almost the whole midfield.

The rest of thea team, with very few exceptions is way out of form.

You`re winning, whining and pointing fingers.

German defence is bad. On paper and on field. You`ll say except for hummels, well hummels failed in both the goals vs ghana. First goal he + howedes failed to deny the crosser time on ball. Both bad positioning. Second goal was Lahm + Hummels. Intercepted pass of lahms + Stupid missed tackle by hummels which made it 1-2.

German midfield is out of form.

And german attack = muller.

You still do not agree with me that Low should figure out better tactics with the players he does have? Granted the best players aren't there. But he should try to adapt a bit better. And the assist from Muller was bad, just lucky the defenders were not paying attention or positioned right.

müller was great again yesterday, working and running his ass off as usual, always trying to find his open space, always trying to find his teammates, never giving up. not only his assist, also his solo to find schweinsteiger with a cross was great. if we had 3 müllers up front (one as a striker and 2 on the wings we wouldn't even have to talk about our defence)... the guy is a fucking beast.
