Then again, UCL quarterfinals still involve 3 Spanish teams, while Leicester is the last English team left.

Also Leicester has been well-known for defying the laws of logic, haven't they? They are basically an exception, confirming the rule that PL is subpar to La Liga (and other leagues as well) in reality...

Yup. English teams do seem to suck balls when roaming Europe. Spurs are genuinely a decent team, but they put in some woeful performances. Didn't even improve in the Europa League. Can't say much against arsenal, they've been pretty shit lately and came up against one of the top 3, not much they could have done. And man city are fine in attack but probably have the worst defense in the top half of the prem.

With the amount of money the prem has it is a damn shame we aren't more competitive in Europe. There shouldn't be any excuses left tbh.

Well, PL made a leap forward when they brought in the likes of Conte, Pep and Klopp.

Those are people that COULD bring back PL closer to the rest of Europe with regards to tactical aspects of the game, in which PL had not only fallen behind the top leagues like ESP, ITA or GER, but even smaller ones like Belgium or the Netherlands.

another matchday, another loss for my boys. 1-2 at fucking ingolstadt and the worst part is: it wasn't even undeserved. just goal difference is keeping us off the relegation spot currently. looking really bad this year...
