Regarding Ter Stegen, how commanding of a goalkeeper is he? Does he organize his defence? Decent shot stopper?

Our defence would improve immensely if we had a more commanding goalkeeper.

Great shot stopper and a better long passer (both feet) than most of Premier League's central backs tbh. Can't say too much regarding his commanding skills though since he hasn'T had the chance to showcase them in UCL with Barcelona. He did a great job organizing defense with Gladbach though.

I would still think that he is good enough to "demand" caps in La Liga over Bravo. And instead of selling him, Barca/Enrique would probably grant him those caps.

Is Reus even doing that good this year?!

12 goals (9 in the league) in 26 appearances. Not bad.

He's a player I'd love to have, but there are much better destinations I'd imagine he'd prefer over Liverpool in our current state.

I think your best bet would still be on Zieler. He's actually really talented and consistent and shares #3 in Germany with Leno basically. Leverkusen don't need to sell players though, while Hannover will most likely not stay in Bundesliga... he could be a bargain at ~5-6 million as I don't see any German side having the need or the money, except for Red Bull Leipzig maybe.
Also, you overlook how Firmino makes a great attacking mid. He played that position most of the time during his stint with Hoffenheim and was good at both scoring and creating chances. Assuming Klopp intends to have his wing backs supporting offense a lot, he could do a great job cutting inside whenever possible.

Zieler
Clyne - Skrtel/Sakho - Matip - Moreno/Flanagan
Henderson/Allen - Can/Milner
Lallana/Sturridge - Coutinho/Firmino - Firmino/Coutinho
Benteke/Sturridge/Origi

Doesn't look that bad for a start^^

Firmino has been excellent in leading our front line whenever he's started up front. I think I've read that since the turn of the new year, he's been involved in the most goals in the Premier League. I believe most of this was while leading the line.

Klopp should have some pulling power on him imo

I'd go for something like...

Any decent German keeper/Begovic
Clyne - Matip - Lovren/Sakho - New LB/Flanagan
New CDM - Henderson
New CAM - Firmino - Coutinho/Milner
Sturridge/New Striker

Bench: Mignolet, Flanagan/New LB, Lovren/Sakho, Skrtel, Lucas, Lallana, Sturridge/Ings

e/ I'm not a fan of Can, Moreno or Lallana as you can tell. I like Milner in a more advanced role, he has good ability and scores/assists quite a lot. I'm also really unsure about Coutinho, he really hasn't been very good for a long time now...

Could live with that. I've actually really liked the look of Lucas as a centre back lately.

Who could realistically fill the gaps in your team?

Lucas has been really good at CB but I doubt he could keep that up for a season, taking form out of the equation I think he'd still be able to get a good few games but probably not starting in most league games.

I'd like Payet as a CAM but I think he'd cost a lot. I also think Begovic could be enticed by the promise of first team football. As for LB CDM and ST I'm not too sure yet, there's loads of attacking left backs out there that can defend adequately, it's finding a striker I'm most worried about.

Lacazette said that this summer would be the perfect time to eventually make his first big move and I recall him even saying a move to PL.

I don't see him starting over Agüero at City / Costa at Chelsea / Rooney or Martial at United. Leicester and Tottenham have their own talent, so it's between Liverpool and Arsenal basically :)

Not having the kind of season he had last year, 12 goals in 33 appearances this season, but still a quality player.

Unfortunately don't know much about the player so can't really make much comment. Does he have the kind of mentality Klopp is looking for in a player? High intensity pressing from the top when we're defending? If Lacazette has that kind of quality, he'd be a good fit.

I'm also pretty excited to have Ings back for next season. I think he's a good squad player to have around.

Picture him as an injuryless Sturridge with the passing of a Milner.
