ter Stegen will get his caps in La Liga eventually. He's a very good keeper and he's probably the second-best long passer amongst them, only beaten by Neuer. He was crucial for them winning CL and they will let him play La Liga games instead of selling.
Klopp could get another German keeper though... basically every single one of them is better than Mignolet. Köln have Horn, Leverkusen have Leno, Hannover have Zieler and will probably be relegated. The talent pool is big enough and so is Liverpool's purse.

Also, I expect Matip to be regularly starting as a central back. His passing abilities and his game opening and reading are needed in Kopp's intended system. Ofc Matip is no Hummels, but still much closer to his style of play than Sakho or Skrtel.

Reus is not realistic at all... Götze will probably stay with Bayern for at least one more season to see if his chances to gain minutes increase under Ancelotti. But with Lallana playin like he did vs. City, Liverpool don't need him^^

Ter Stegen would be great, better than Mignolet.

And How about Gomez? I felt that he was pretty good so far for Liverpool and if it wasn't for his injury he would have player alot more.

I'd rather have Leno than Ter Stegen. Also we do need an attacking mid aneas, lallana is too inconsistent, he should be a squad player if we truly want to challenge for top 4. I just don't think Reus or Gotze would really want to come to a club that hardly ever makes top 4 or wins trophies, even if Klopp is manager.

Why is he not good enough for pool?

Pool isn't good enough for him

Apparently Klopp is getting a nice war chest this summer to mould the team into his.

What do you think we need?

I've read that we're looking to put a bid in for Ter Stegen.
Gotze rumours are pretty strong at the moment.
Been mentioning of Reus.

----------- Sturridge/Firmino -------------

Reus --------- Coutinho ---------- Gotze

---------- Can ------- Henderson ----------

Flanagan -- Sakho -- Skrtel -- Clyne

----------------- Ter Stegen ------------------

Back to relying on scoring more than the other team.

götze has to play in the center

thing is, his contract runs only until 2017
so bayern and götze better talk about his chances under ancelotti in time since its the last chance to get some money

as of now i think our bosses let him go when liverpool makes a good offer
or he would have been among müller, javi, boateng who signed an extension lately

Please don't tell me you think Reus is a realistic buy? This is an example of why people make fun of Liverpool fans

Mate, I made that line up from all of the paper talk.

Realistically, no. We're not at a level to get players of that calibre, unless of course we offer stupid money to them (contract wise)

I think your best bet would still be on Zieler. He's actually really talented and consistent and shares #3 in Germany with Leno basically. Leverkusen don't need to sell players though, while Hannover will most likely not stay in Bundesliga... he could be a bargain at ~5-6 million as I don't see any German side having the need or the money, except for Red Bull Leipzig maybe.
Also, you overlook how Firmino makes a great attacking mid. He played that position most of the time during his stint with Hoffenheim and was good at both scoring and creating chances. Assuming Klopp intends to have his wing backs supporting offense a lot, he could do a great job cutting inside whenever possible.

Zieler
Clyne - Skrtel/Sakho - Matip - Moreno/Flanagan
Henderson/Allen - Can/Milner
Lallana/Sturridge - Coutinho/Firmino - Firmino/Coutinho
Benteke/Sturridge/Origi

Doesn't look that bad for a start^^

Regarding Ter Stegen, how commanding of a goalkeeper is he? Does he organize his defence? Decent shot stopper?

Our defence would improve immensely if we had a more commanding goalkeeper.
