yes, they were the first europeans to do at least something
thats why the german policy is to stay out of this, because so far we are considered a safe ground by terrorists (which would certainly change then ofc)
i think we have an obligation to help the french, but merkel wants to sit this out to save her sorry ass

btw our bomb stuff yesterday was a false alarm, despite not trying to say anything one of the guys from lower saxony confirmed that there was "nothing to find and nobody to arrest"
so only the fake bomb in a train remains.....

You're still not over the fact they canceled the game? even if there was no threath I don't blame them. A fals alarm is still an alarm, they handled it well. Same thing here in Belgium.

i really thought you were better than those idiots connecting everyone and everything to "our" adolf
this must be some kind of sickness here in germany
but nice job trying to teach me about history, i think i can do without your lectures and prefer those at university

at least putin is honest and the only guy fighting isis AND the other jihadists like al-nusra (which are named "rebels" in our media  )
while the leaders of the western world present themselves as the haven of freedom, democracy, peace (did i forget anything?), which they certainly are not
given the choice between an honest villain and a lying one, i prefer the honest guy everytime

ah, the good old "i though you were better than..." "argument" - i really thought you were better than that...

you clearly need to inform yourself about what russia has been doing in syria so far and what their intentions are. you seem rather clueless or at the very least naive. i hope that given the latest events, they will seize the opportunity to become the good guys as the "weak europe" is turning towards them for help and something good can come out of this...

also the "choice" you are suggesting to make here is nowhere near what reality is like. putin the honest villain and merkel the lying one?
i am certainly not a fan of angie and many of her policies these days but is she suppressing opposition? rigging elections? throwing critics in jail (or killing them)? making policies for oil companies that pay her billions? changing the laws for her personal benefit? invading sovereign nations? censoring the internet?

i really can't believe how many stupid people fall for that tough guy act (even worse if it's people like you, who grew up in a free country with all the access to information and all the opportunities to develop a critical mind)... riding shirtless through the wilderness, wrestling bears and pretending to save the world from a james bond submarine - this is what it takes to make you a fan, huh? you think putin is honest? joke of the century...

no, dont me wrong there, i would always take the safe road, but the reactions now are a joke
our minister for interior affairs said that he wont say anything to not worry the population (of course the opposite happened, what a genius)
only his colleague from lower saxony indirectly confirmed the false alarm when the journalists started to bother him

so its too hard to admit that there was nothing?
at least he should have said that he cant make a statement without comprimising the investigation like everyone else from the police would say it
disgraceful how they leave everyone without a clue, thats whats causing fear in the first place

It doesn't mather if there was nothing or not, it was more about the fact that they handled it well and caused next to no panic.

You honestly expect the police and government to say EVERYTHING instantly?

not everything ofc and the idea behind his approach was definitely the right one, they don't want to reveal anything about the process sensitive information is acquired and how they hunt down possible threats but the message he eventually put out was more than questionable and achieved quite the opposite of what it was supposed to do. i agree with ampoo here that the statement was an utter joke but i doubt he can see the bigger picture and put it into context so whatever...

the thing is, if people wouldn't report it just because it goes over their heads or just to be d*cks, it wouldn't get closed. also, a football match was how the topic got started in this forum...

i already said what would be the least i expected them to do, read it up
only saying "no statement, but no worries" is just bullshit

no, in germany you just lose your job, get attacked by "antifascists" and get insulted by everyone if you say that you dont want muslim people here (dont try to deny it, its the truth)
this should also be covered by freedom of speech, should it not?
thats far better than jail lol, but i have never seen putin claiming that he protects free speech at all costs

his show is hilarious of course, but tell me this
whats the difference when merkel makes selfies with illegal immigrants to promote her image and putin riding shirtless through a forest? there is none

of course russia is not dealing with isis out of the kindness of their hearts, nobody in politics does that
assad is russias friend, ensuring access to the mediterranean and much more
whatever the real motive is, what they do is a good thing

its funny how you accuse me of not seeing the bigger picture as argument ender
what makes YOU the better expert compared to me? nothing

nothing but arrogance on your end, but thats the main quality of political correct guys
everyone not agreeing does not see "the bigger picture", is "uneducated", the list is endless

it's "the truth", huh? you are in possession of the very thing no rational thinking intelligent human being could ever dream of having? prove it then.
to me it seems more like most people call you a political correct weakling if you refuse to blame all muslims and all immigrants for the terror of some and refuse to share the view that a religion that is just a contradictory as the one i grew up with is inherently violent and aggressive - funny how different perspectives can be, right?

and your "truth" (some ppl losing their job for discriminating against a certain religion) is just as bad as: suppressing democratic opposition, rigging elections, throwing critics in jail (or killing them), making policies for oil companies that pay you billions, changing the laws for your personal benefit, invading sovereign nations and censoring the internet - and you think you have more freedom of speech in russia? ridiculous. what about the gays, environmentalists, government critics there? you think it's just anywhere close here? just a fraction even? well, that is a very unique view... don't EVER call anyone else naive plz, hahaha...
