Multiple sources say Illarramendi is a done deal. I like him, he's definetely a promising player and he could be a great signing. I think it would be better to wait one more year though... letting him play the CL with la Real this year like Isco did with Málaga, and then buy him in 2014 would make more sense imo. Also, the player's release clause is 30M€, which is overpriced... 20M€ would be a fair deal, but I doubt la Real will want to negotiate.

Apparently both Madrid and la Real have set a deadline for the Illarramendi transfer. The player is supposed to begin training with his team mates on thursday, and la Real doesn't want to sell any player after that date.
