that sure is a lot of money and i'm confident we'll be spending it wisely but still, he's clearly been our best player this season and last season as well.
and while it's nice to get good money for a player who would have left eventually anyway, it's clearly weakening our current team significantly at this point - and it's not like we've been particularly good this season to begin with...

after reading this http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/668083/artikel_was-der-malli-transfer-fuer-mainz-bedeutet.html it becomes clear that you had to take the deal

you guys will be alright imo, still a solid team and well above relegation
the relegation zone that malli will be joining
weird choice imo, wolfsburg isnt exactly on the rise

Mallorca will be playing home against Mirandés tomorrow.

After a surprisingly strong start during which they overperformed, MIrandés has been slowly sinking in the table. It's no surprise tbh, their team is very limited and they are one of the biggest candidates to relegation. Mallorca needs to win this, any other result would be inexcusable.

Deserved 2-0 win for Mallorca. Mirandés started off well, but as soon as Mallorca began dominating 10 minutes in, they parked the bus for the rest of the game. In the end we had to wait until the 81st minute to score, but the win was much deserved as we had more chances and Mirandés's offense was invisible a side from a crossbar right after we scored the 1-0. Just got back home from the game (I'm in Mallorca for the holidays and this is actually the first time in years that Mallorca plays a home game in the first week of january so I took the chance to attend :D ).

Nope, I'm leaving back to Madrid tomorrow.

I forgot about that friendly actually. Should be an easy win for your boys... we will probably field a bunch of randoms and youngsters since we have a much more important game to worry about on the following sunday :P

He was great for Nástic last season (in Segunda). He barely played for Celta this year, so I can't really judge his form. He was heavily linked to several Segunda clubs, either on loan or on a transfer worth around 1M€-1.5M€, so I guess this is a great deal for Celta. If he plays as well for Genk as he did for Nástic, he will be a good signing, although 3.5M€ does seem like a bit too much imo. He's more of a second striker or winger, but as a striker if needed... he's pretty fast and good at dribbling in large spaces, which allows him to take advantage of counter attacks or defensive mistakes by the opponent. Decent finishing as well, but sometimes he makes bad decisions and his physique isn't great. At least that's what he was like last season.

e: whoops I misread, it's a 3.5 year deal, not 3.5M transfer fee
