He was in the action tho, ussually if the player is in the action he can be called offside

What's with rubbish refereeing against Newcastle at OT, last season they were given a pelanty for nothing which costed us the league

I think Dean made a correct decision. Own goal - no offside (I think Newcastle player didn't even touch a ball).
Anyways, more goals - more entertainment
