This is the danger of social media! I took Putin's quote from a post on Facebook & it turned out to be false. I apologize.

imo China and Russia have been more like background noise and not fully involved in the conflict.

Russia are heavily involved lol, them and France are the main countries bombing Syria. Him working together with Assad is what Obama was fighting against

nop. russia is actually the country that is MOST involved (not only airstrikes but ground troops, tanks & artillery) in syria and that caused quite some tension between them and the US as russia was actively fighting groups down there that had previously been supported by America and Europe to help fight ISIS. you clearly have no idea what you are talking about, sorry...

It's the danger of having idiot journalists that are so desperate to bring fresh news that they don't check their sources.

Seriously, saying he took the quote from a Facebook page just makes it worse. He would have made himself a favour by simply apologizing and saying that he made a mistake following a wrong source.

One of the first lessons we learned here in Journalism, they do it on purpose aswell to get more followers/attention and put them higher up in the chains.

Transferwindow is a perfect example for that again, make up an insane rumour say its 100% legit and get mass attention

what are you talking about? the russians are already in it, mainly to help assad while pretending to fight isis.

yeah, you like leaders who make such statements to appear "strong" and "manly" while surpressing all democratic opposition in their own country and changing the laws so they can stay in power.
i think i've read about similar things in my history books, can't quite remember who it was but i'm pretty sure something like this happened before once or twice...

i really thought you were better than those idiots connecting everyone and everything to "our" adolf
this must be some kind of sickness here in germany
but nice job trying to teach me about history, i think i can do without your lectures and prefer those at university

at least putin is honest and the only guy fighting isis AND the other jihadists like al-nusra (which are named "rebels" in our media  )
while the leaders of the western world present themselves as the haven of freedom, democracy, peace (did i forget anything?), which they certainly are not
given the choice between an honest villain and a lying one, i prefer the honest guy everytime

yes, they were the first europeans to do at least something
thats why the german policy is to stay out of this, because so far we are considered a safe ground by terrorists (which would certainly change then ofc)
i think we have an obligation to help the french, but merkel wants to sit this out to save her sorry ass

btw our bomb stuff yesterday was a false alarm, despite not trying to say anything one of the guys from lower saxony confirmed that there was "nothing to find and nobody to arrest"
so only the fake bomb in a train remains.....
