i'd happily take him back, he has been outstanding for us last season.

In all honesty, it's still early days and I'm not willing to write him off after about 8 games. But he has lost us 4 pts in the last 2 games from errors, we can't afford to lose more.

How did Villarreal 3-0 atletico? Most Spanish teams know how to buy players who are shit and make them decent again.
Maybe it's because of how chilled out the league is and there is very litte pressure.

Because Villarreal is a strong team? (albeit their performances have been inconsistent so far)

Also, Oblak was injured while trying to avoid the 2-0. Thiago was injured before that as well.

I said a few weeks ago, Atlético is struggling without Augusto. Gabi can't do all the work... and with Thiago injured 30 minutes into the game, it was pretty much gg then. And speaking of "gg", the Griezman-Gameiro frontline has been surprisingly bad for some time.

ter stegen also had some problems in the beginning.the younger goalkeeper need their time develop especially when they move from small clubs to big ones.dont forget he has broken his hand not long ago,no reason to write him off but you have to give players some time to assimilate into a new league
