Let me explain it once more for you; Muller has always been in a good working team while United was crippling over the past seasons. We have no idea how muller would perform in a completely broken team since hes never been in a broken team before.

Now let me clarify before you get hurt again; I rate Muller VERY highly and I consider him to be among the world best.

tbh i think 80 million is too much for every single player whose name is not lionel messi, obviously including thomas müller. but when you look at what has been paid for players like hames, di maria, hulk or sideshow luiz and considering how much money english clubs are spending for much worse players it's not completely unrealistic.
the only thing that makes it look so bad is that bundesliga players are usually dirt cheap because their clubs can't even offer them a third of what english clubs can. with müller, however, it's different - he has a very good contract and good standing in the team (although it's quite obvious he isn't pep's biggest fan).
