Well I kind of saw it coming, it did look like it could be then end of Madrid's 14 year streak against Atlético.

We had a ton of chances and missed them, they had less chances and missed less, but still missed many. And the ref was a joke (not blaming Madrid's loss on him, but he ruined the match, he was unable to handle the tension and carded almost everyone on the pitch).



This is what happens when you pick the standard Liga ref for these kind of matches instead of the 4-5 refs we have that are actually good and can handle these type of games. Disgraceful refereeing.

At least we got back the players fighting, I know it's wrong, but I'm glad Simeone and players like Diego Costa have brought back Atlético's traditional dirty side because I missed those Derbi fights. It had been too long since we last saw a derbi so tense and passionate.
