Alcorcón, dispite being a small club that has spent its history in regional leagues, has been fighting for promotion to Primera consistently over the last few seasons. This year, it doesn't look like they'll be up there though. They've failed to properly replace the starting players they lost this summer and their start of the season has been pretty bad. They still have their star striker from previous seasons though, who has been consistently prolific in Segunda and is a threat to any team that faces him. Mallorca should still win this (provided we can score our chances ^^), and pretty much has to win it or else the promotion positions will start to be far away.

This was the game of the silly penalties. 3 silly penalties in this match.... and the reason there was only one goal was because the shooting of the pks was even sillier. 2 pks for us (we blew the first one), and one for them (which was Alcorcón's only serious chance today). Over all a well deserved win, but we again missed way too many chances...
