So this is our official squad

For the goalkeepers; Courtois and Mignolet are certain, but Gillet shouldn't even be near the squad. Sels deserved it way more, even Casteels could have gotten it.
Defenders: Many many injuries in the defence, saw Kompany, Engels, Lombaerts, Boyata going out with injuries so Wilmots brought in Ciman and Kabasele (Montreal and Genk). I'm kind of hoping Kabasele will get a chance, young and very strong player.
Our defence will most likely look like: Vertonghen LB, Vermaelen and Denayer CB and Alderweireld RB.
Midfielders: No complaints here, thank god Defour didn't get a call up. Fellaini might prove himself usefull once more but I expect Dembélé, Radja and Witsel to play.
Attackers: I'm soooo happy Batshuayi got a call up, has been performing great for Marseille. It seems Wilmots has made Lukaku his number one striker tho (ahead of Benteke), somthing that I can understand.
Unfortunatly looking at seeing Mertens on the bench again (seeing as he's a super sub and Hazard, De Bruyne and Carrasco performed better)

Overall happy with the squad with the odd exception of favouritism in the player selection (COUGH GILLET COUGH)

0 strikers, unless you rate beteke, lakuku and origi as halfway decent

Azpi is going as a LB (Alba's backup ofc).

Del Bosque hasn't publicly announced who will be the first choice keeper, but it would be very surprising (and retarded) if it wasn't De Gea.

For some reason, it always feels like every country hates their national coach :D

Well, he wasn't even on the short list so it's not something that I'm upset about right now. In any case, it should be a crime to call Bartra ahead of Javi Martínez (or Victor Ruíz or Albiol, as both of them have had superb seasons).

The problem I see with this is that in today's football teams often need to play with 3 CMs at a time (not necesarily start this way; it could be depending on the opponent and the match's circumstances), and calling 4 might not be enough if injuries, cards or fatigue limit your picks. Nowadays if you're a team that usually plays with 2 DMs/CMs, then you should call up 5 imo.

Ya was feeling that. But those 4 are defensive minded. What if 3 breaks? Will a defender go cdm?

We play in a 4-2-3-1, so we only need 2 pure DM's (we have Radja, Fellaini, Dembélé and Witsel). De Bruyne as a cam (mertens can sub in in that position) and then there are the wings (Hazard, Carrasco, Mertens, Origi,...)
So in that regard we're fine IMO. Only problem is our defence.

I'd love Belgium to play Germany if only to see the Fellaini master class
