He might be a tiny bit better than Joe Cole but im positive that Aqualani is better than him so i dont see any reason in signing him
If he was at the level he is at now and was 21 then he would be an interesting player to sign but i dont see him as a player that can help us reach top 4 in the short or long run

Aquilani is a CM, Dempsey is not, the two don't relate

Dempsey is an attacking midfielder and if he joined pool he would fight with Aqualani/Henderson for a spot as Lucas is defending midfielder and Gerrard is pretty much secured a spot so those two would relate alot in the pool team
