why doesnt jese ever get to play? he's young and a very good player for the reserves. would be a shame if he left to play first team ball

Mourinho isn't the type of guy that uses players from youth squads unfortunately.

Yes, but he doesn't keep them in the squad. It's easy to promote 20 players and give them 20 minutes per season on average. It's true though that many of Castilla's players will never be good enough to play regularly for Madrid, but there are a few that could develop into good players. Look at Carvajal, he didn't play with Mourinho and now he's having a great season in Leverkusen; I really hope Madrid buys him back this or next summer. This has always been Mourinho's main flaw imo.

Well with the squad we have, I'm not surprised youths don't get regular playing time. Espically this season with all the trouble we're having.
