modric and di maria were alright
ramos essien varane and lopez really held us down this game

i dont really disagree with benching casillas, he wasnt doing great before his injury and lopez has been brilliant

Real made that crucial mistake that they didn't do enough pressing in the at the end of the first and the beginning of the 2nd half.
Imo they missed some sort of leader. It wasn't a bad match from madrid but I'd expect more if you want into the finals, esp. after the desolate first leg.

Well, their crucial mistake was, that they totally messed up the first leg

in 2 legs bvb was the way better side
first leg was all bvb
second leg was kinda tied, maybe slight advantage for real going by possession (opps to score were pretty tied as well)
could also have ended 5-5 though

so well deserved for bvb to go through
