Mallorca will be playing home against Girona tonight.

Girona has traditionally been a third level team, but ever since they promoted to Segunda in 2009, they've become a solid team in the league, competing for promotion several times. They have a very strong team this season, and they should fight for promotion once again. Meanwhile Mallorca needs to get the first win of the season, and if we want to fight for promotion we will need t beat these strong teams at home so, our only objective is to take 3 points ofc.

Hopefully we keep playing well... only that this time we finish those chances.

Valencia still has 0 points

Lost against Las Palmas, Eibar and Betis (the first and last at home)... I wonder how they'll do when they play against Madrid, Barça, Sevilla, Atlético, etc :D

Rekt by my boy Aritz today (his two goals today have turned him into the second player with most header goals in the past 2 decades btw B) ).

The last time Valencia started La Liga with 4 defeats (1999-2000) they ended up releg-.... I mean they finished 3rd and CL runnerups

thx and yes, i absolutely agree - that was a disgraceful tackle, no excuses for it whatsoever.

we just signed him this summer (from turkish club galatasaray, go figure), this was his first league game for us and he was on the pitch for about 5 minutes.
considering this brutal and completely unnecessary and unprovoked tackle i really hope he doesn't return to the team any time soon - 5 games ban at least imo. i don't know what's wrong with his head but obviously something is, what was he thinking?

i'm completely with our manager schmidt who apologised, saying he hopes for a speedy recovery and that these kind of tackles are not what you should expect from a mainz player (or any football player for that matter)...
