that said, i'll still be rooting for england over italy. they might have classless fans and cheated themselves into this final, but italy is historically so much worse when it comes to despicable tactics. also, while it's unfortunately a pretty big issue in both their leagues, racism is undeniably worse in serie a (despite english fans repeatedly booing their team for taking a knee). finally, a title might actually heal england's inferiority complex somewhat and make their fans less toxic in the long run, even though short term i'd expect a lot of obnoxious cunts acting like they won the trophy themselves...

There's nothing wrong with the world supporting Italy over us, as what is football without rivalry, but it's the reasoning for some of the support that lacks critical thinking

We battered Denmark pillar to post in the semifinal and despite a great tournament for them, they did not deserve to reach the final.
