good performance by gladbach. 3-1 away win in bern, who eliminated shakhtar in the previous round.
looking good. then again, same was true for hertha after the 1st leg so i hope gladbach can stay focused in the 2nd leg...

Austria Wien - Rosenborg Trondheim today..

I'm a little worried as Rosenborg is really strong and in our last 2 games we lost and conceeded a total of 7 goals..

Yeah second half anderlecht totally outclassed slavia.
Tielemans didn't do anything special but didn't make any mistakes. He was solid tho, nice corner that led to a goal.

RCD Mallorca's season kicks off today, with a home game against Reus.

Reus are a club that has spent it's entire 117 year old history moving between the 3rd and 5th levels, and this is going to be their first ever game in Segunda. They are considered by many to be the weakest side in the league and are number one candidates for relegation, but they have made a few interesting signings (mostly free agents) which makes me think they'll end up putting up more of a fight than what most people think. It should still be a solid win for my boys, and dropping points today would be awful.

Mallorca's team looks pretty good this season, albeit there are better ones on paper. Expectations are to finish in the playoff zone (3rd-6th) and the goal is to promote from there. We haven't changed manager this time, and we've prepared a team based on what has been built since january (when we signed Vázquez as our manager), so things seem more settled than in previous seasons. I don't want to be too optimistic though, because we've been utter shit in the previous seasons when there was a lot of hype... but I do believe we will at least perform much better this time.
