He played an important role in Argentina's run, but the albiceleste's best player throughout the tournament has been Mascherano by far.

mascherano was decent, he appeared very, very good simply because the guys playing next to him were absolute trash. Zabaleta/rojo + whole midfield.

In a decent team he would have been as i said, decent.

Too bad he tore his anus in the Netherlands game.

Last EC we lost to Italty because Löw had no clue what to do with Pirlo.
