No, but his contract is running out.

According to spanish media, Napoli is trying to extend his contract but he has refused it a few times already for several reasons (apparently they have to do with: low transfer budget, feels worn down on a personal level, doesn't like Serie A much, wants new challenges, etc).

So it's very likely that he will leave.

Would love him in the prem again.

City have made some AWFUL signings in the last 2-3 years

Thats also on the board. Txki and Soriano do that I believe.

Get Benitez, have him bring Higuain, game over imo B)

Except for Aguero b) Or is he from 2011 or something?

But yeah they have.

Guyz, which players would be realistic for City to sign? :D

City's signings since 2012:

Season 11/12
Stefan Savic £6,000,000 FLOP
Gaël Clichy £7,000,000 Hit and miss, but can be classed as a decent buy
Sergio Agüero £38,000,000 Great buy
Costel Pantilimon £3,000,000 FLOP
Samir Nasri £22,000,000 Hit and miss/Flop
Owen Hargreaves Free Hardly played
Luca Scapuzzi Free Hardly played

Season 12/13
Jack Rodwell £15,000,000 FLOP
Scott Sinclair £8,000,000 FLOP
Matija Nastasic £12,000,000 Hit and Miss, sold to schalke
Maicon £3,000,000 FLOP
Richard Wright Free Hardly played
Jave Garcia £16,000,000 FLOP
Godsway Donyoh Free Hardly played

Season 13/14

Jesus Navas £22,900,000 Close to being a flop
Fernandinho £30,000,000 Good buy, not cheap however
Álvaro Negredo £20,600,000 Started well, then ended up being a flop
Stevan Jovetic £25,800,000 Unfortunatly a flop
Zacharias Faour £400,000 Hardly played
Martín Demichelis £3,500,000 Decent buy

Season 14/15
Bacary Sagna Free Decent buy
Fernando £12,000,000 Very hit and miss
Willy Caballero £6,000,000 Hardly plays, but a decent back up
Bruno Zuculini £1,500,000 Promising, hopefully he'll play
Eliaquim Mangala £40,000,000 Not worth 40m but could turn out well
Wilfried Bony £28,000,000 So far a flop but I can see him succeeding

My opinion on the transfers

These are the players that need to leave(reasonable replacement) obviously not just trying to play FM on this.

Kolarov(Coentrao, Adriano)
Dzeko+Jovetic(Idk who's available for this one, Lacazette perhaps if he doesnt cost an arm and a leg)
Navas(Callejon, Mertens, Gaitan)
Nasri(De Bruyne)
Yaya if we get a reasonable offer(Vidal, Pogba)

idk, we need a major shakeup.

But let's look at this in context. City have won the league 2 out of 4 times from 2011-2015. They got rich in September 2008 when Sheikh Mansour took over. So in 3 years they went from a mid table club to a premier league winning side. Not only did they win it, but they have stayed consistently top 4, have challenged pretty much every season, and won it in 2013-14 season also.

That's a pretty insane transformation...and before anybody says "well you expect that with the money they've spent", compare City to other clubs that have spent hundreds of millions in the last year or so, like Man Utd and Liverpool. City still comes out on top.

Signings

Savic - worst defender in the world.
Clichy - great buy, cheap defender + homegrown status
Aguero - top 3 strikers in the world when in form
Pantillimon - had his moments
Nasri - decent buy

Rodwell - abysmal
Sinclair - abysmal
Nastasic - great player, sad he dipped in form and didnt get any game time under pellegrini
Maicon - for the amount we played he did what he needed to do
Garcia - trash

Navas - started out okay, turned into possession wasting midget
Fernandinho - fantastic signing shouldve cost about 10 mill less
Negredo - fine signing, sold him anyways too bad about his dip in form
Jovetic - injured 80% of the time, seems promising we could probably sell him for a decent amount
Demichelis - aight.

Sagna - fine
Fernando - eh, kinda iffy, dont really mind him.
Caballero - unnecessary to pay so much for backup keeper
Zuculini - i like this kid a lot
Mangala - worth 25 at most, why he isn't playing is beyond me
Bony - unnecessary, bought when we needed a striker desperately and will be gone for AFCON

All I can fully agree on is that Aguero was a amazing purchase.

Let's say we sell Navas and Nasri. Who would we buy instead? Is Bale an option here?
