Dunno why there is so much hate about Pep. Although he made some mistakes, this guy won the double in his first season and he was unbeaten a felt eternity.
People are just spoiled by success.

I have to admit, that i was a little bit doubtful after Pep joined, since i could not understand some of his decisions.
But for now, i am happy, that he is in München. Only time will show, what he can do....or not

Good deal for Reina at ~ £3.5m. A good goalkeeper past his best is not adequate competition against Neuer though, maybe he can get a bit of game time in the crappy domestic cups.

bad deal. they already had a decent backup goalie. why not give the 3rd spot to a talented young (german) keeper? would be cheaper, too...
but well, it's a pepocracy in bayern...

Reina is better than any backup goalie, the talented young keepers can go on loan instead of being on the bench

afaik it has to do with raeder's massive fuckup in the 3rd league relegation games. his mistake has more or less singlehandedly cost bayern II the promotion to 3rd league. this combined with the experience from last season where both neuer and starke were injured at the same time at some point made pep think that he doesnt want to risk anything in terms of goalie #3 quality.


starke, however, is certainly not amused. :-/ its pretty clear that he now is goalie #3 and reina #2.
