Alright let me put everything together:
We started of very well, playing nice football and Giroud getting a goal. Then Gibbs got injuried and the game changed a bit, ref called a fair pen at first, clear foul. Benteke scores 1-1 HT
After HT villa got in the game aswell, but arsenal still having most possesion, ref makes a mistake and gives them an undeserved pen, they score 1-2.
Then Koscielny gets a second yellow for a foul where per should have actually gotten a yellow, so down to 10 men.
With 10 men Arsenal were the better team but a quick counter sealed the deal for Villa 3-1, Luna who had been terrible all game scores.
A first loss is always a bad thing, doesn't say anything about the season at all tho, people saying Wengerout already are the worst arsenal fans, in fact you can't even call them an arsenal fan.
Yes deals should have been made quicker, no I don't agree with wenger on that part but today was not his fault, it wasn't our lack of players that got us this defeat, it was just an unfortunate game where we lacked energy aswell.
I'm still confident wenger will make a signing or two, who really step up their game and get us where we want. Everything is still possible, nothing has happend.
If we would have lossed by playing shit all game, I would have talked otherwise, but I saw positives aswell. Our injury list is pretty high right now, so I'm hoping we get some reinforcements.
Wenger is still the right man for this job, I still believe in him, the season has only just started, I'm happy football started again
