Fell sorry for England though, they've had a very solid run, even if they only faced lesser opponents (except Belgium, to which they lost, but it was pretty much a friendly)... the team looked solid and has matured in this tournament. If they put this experience to good use, they'll have a good chance of performing well in the upcoming Euro.

holy shit! grats croatia, what a fight, what a win! fully deserved overall, one freekick (that shouldn't even have been one) is just not enough, croatia created so much more.

that being said though, this semi-final is a huge success for england and although this probably doesn't mean much at the moment, they can be proud of that. let the haters hate, but there are no real 'easy' opponents anymore...
