It's not like there are many great coaches available out there. At least Van Gaal has experience managing national teams, and it's proven that he knows how to make youngsters perform and develop. I'm not sure he would give you guys silverware, but he would give Belgium a boost imo.

About him not knowing french... idk if he speaks it or not, but he can speak like 5 or 6 languages, I'm sure he'd pick it up quickly, and in the mean time he should be able to survive with english and dutch.
