You don't need to bet to become active. If you're an active enough poster you get in so that if you ever decide to make a bet we don't have to wait until the next update to add you.


So you are telling me that if Randy McRand started posting a year ago and he was very active in the forums he can get in without making a single bet? How does that work if you don't even know if he is credible?

I'm sorry but it is a very broken system. Anyone can make a Chile account, go nuts on posts, become active for no reason and welch the shit out of any newcomer from other sections just because he is on a broken list.

Out of the top of my head, I remember the controversy regarding stickies being much bigger (it eventually spawned a bunch of other threads, and we ended up having a lot of locked topics on the front page). Not sure if you were around here back then though :D
