Imo it's a bad move.. City already has Silva in that rôle..
Furthermore, mourinho claimed that de bruyne wants a team where he doesn't has to fight for a sport but where he Knows he'll be in the starting 11.. He will fail in city imo

Because let's believe Mourinho, right? De Bruyne has no problem with fighting for his place, but he needs to know he has a future at the club. They didn't guarantee him a future at Chelsea so he didn't see any reason for him to stay.

Typical answer from a Romanian who hates his country

What Mourinho really wanted to say was that he refused to play cb.

well i think he can do well at city IF they give him the time to adjust and not make him fight for his spot.

i don't particularly like the transfer since it will cripple wolfsburg's chances of performing well in the champions league significantly and because he always acted like he felt comfortable at wolfsburg and didn't want to change clubs again already...
that being said, he tried to take some heat off (obviously anticipating the move) by claiming he wanted to be "honest" with the fans and not making a clear commitment about staying at wolfsburg a couple of weeks ago...

I don't think he will have to fight for his spot tbf.

Drop Navas.
Have sterling, Aguero, Silva front 3
De bruyne behind
Watch goals flow.

while this is true in general (and the fact that some ppl dismiss it that easily indeed suggests they are not really the brightest ones) a fellow countryman can help you settle in easier if you move to a club / country with a foreign language / culture (like khedira and özil at madrid for example).

for de bruyne, however, who already played in england and is familiar with the league / language / culture i mostly agree with your point that the mere fact there's another belgian in the team will probably not be a deciding factor...

de bruyne would do well as a 10 but also as a winger, especially in a system where the offensive players switch positions a lot. he's fast enough and he played on the wings for wolfsburg more than once and did well there too... and he's definitely much better than navas, there's no doubt about that whatsoever...
