M8, the club you support has systematically bought the best players from every bundesliga side for many years now, always for amounts of money other clubs could never dream of. Ofc they dont have some oilprice in their pocket but the fact remains that the prices paid are ridiculous. We'll see what happens when Bayern have to replace the likes of Ribery and Robben. I agree with you somewhat on ridiculous prices in BPL. But it's not that strange, Liverpool selling Torres for a huge amount, he was their best striker almost singlehandedly won the European Cup for spain and Chelsea was a main competitor for the title. Now with the what is it, 8 english or self trained youths in your team, City are going to pay.

not this again.......
bayern is systematically looking for the best german players, agreed
but we are not linked with every single transfer rumour and pay 30mio for a guy who has scored 10 goals
thats my point

you are right about robben and ribery but then we will a real class player for 50+ mio and not some overrated kid

now that you mention torres
what happened after that was a complete joke when pool got this carroll guy for 40 mio
maybe pool is the best example for this ridiculous spending
fair enough, city needs a good english player quite badly i guess xd

i am aware that this wont change in the near future, its just bothering me

@aswethegods

real spend a lot but not in the way english clubs do

Tbf, I think Carroll would be a half decent striker if he wasn't injured for 11 months out of every 12 :D

It's all about demand for the english players atm. Teams have to have a certain amount so they will throw money at any young "talent".

Lower teams overpaying for players is because it takes that to attract to lower teams I think.

The market is fucked and with the amount of money being thrown about, especially with this crazy TV deal, it's only going to get worse.

It was even worse after selling Suarez last summer IMO, that was just ridiculous.

Slow as a bear, looks like he swims all over the pitch, only real skill is being tall, he manages to cripple that by awful positioning.

It was almost a guaranteed flop, it would have been a flop for anything past 5 mio pounds mark.
They paid 40 iirc

Dybala was excellent last season and imo is better suited to juve than tevez was.

Khedira is a beast defensive wise.

in my opinion a player cant be good for the team, if he is changing the teams often like he is. theres a reason why. something is wrong with his character imo

khedira was long time injured and no one knows if he can connect to his old level

khedira played well for germany despite all that so he will be even better as a regular starter
super mario always gives 110% for the team
his problem with pep was obvious, what it is at atleti i dontknow
