that IS a valid point but what it comes down to is that they still needed lots of luck to win that title and almost no one seemed to have a problem with it while in this premier league season they "just" had to employ their results-oriented style of playing to basically secure the league and almost everyone is outraged...

and again, i can understand ppl not being too happy with it and criticise them but to say they are not "real champions" for it and to make such rage threads about it is just plain stupid and petty imo...

They are the real champions, they're just shitty and disliked and should be better.

Let's just say how most of us see it:

The players deserve to be the champions, they worked hard and played extremely well
The manager deserves the title, but he doesn't deserve the tag as "one of the worlds best managers" since he simply can't play attractive football but he wins the games.
The club does not deserve the title since it's a club based around money like PSG etc

This is not hating, this is simply giving our opinion.

Also: people seem to forget the reason why Mourinho was sacked at Chelsea in the first place; he got sacked for playing boring football.
So my prediction is that Chelsea wants to get as many titles as possible for the next 2-3 years and then sack Mourinho again.

sorry but mourinho is without a doubt one of the greatest club managers alive if not ever imo. his international achievements with porto and inter speak for themselves as do his domestic titles with chelsea.
and not only his football tactics but also his managing style deserve praise. the way he controls all of his star players despite not having a big name due to an outstanding active career as player himself - no one ever questions his authority and the vast majority of players who played under him like him personally.
the same about the way he presents himself to the media. some people call it just arrogant (which he undoubtedly is), some call it funny or even unprofessional at times but i assure you it's quite the opposite. he has a very unique way of drawing away attention from his team, allowing them to have just a little less pressure in important situations. and he has no problem with being the bad guy or doing unpopular thing when it serves the purpose (which in football, like it or not, is not playing beautiful but winning titles)...

i could not think of any manager i'd blindly sign for any club rather than him...

and about the financial aspect it is just another unfortunate reality of football nowadays that it's financially so imbalanced. if it wasn't, there is no doubt in my mind that arsenal, bayern and barcelona (yes, despite the ridiculous neymar signing) would be in 90% of all champions league semis...

Mourinho is not one of the worlds best managers, he's the best football manager currently in a job

Best manager of all time is SAF. The things he did with dogshite teams is just unbelievable... no one has ever come close

Mourinho always had good teams, played shit football, got lucky with Chelsea and Porto (the latter of which dived their way to victory).

Mourinho is a geat manager. He has proven it coutless times, winning silverware pretty much everywhere he has managed, including those spectacular season he had with Porto and Inter.

He's a great tactitian, he knows how to motivate his players, and he does an excellent job at drawing attention to him in order to make sure that the press is busy criticising him instead of his players.

He does, however, have his flaws. Fender says he'd sign him blindly for any club... talking from experience here, I wouldn't. Mourinho wants to control everything in the club he manages and he also wants to be able to change whatever he feels needs to be changed in order to benefit the team. This isn't an issue when you are managing a club like Chelsea, which doesn't have a glorious history that has shaped the the club into an istitution with a culture of its own, but it does become an issue when he's managing a club like Madrid.

That's imho his biggest flaw. He wants the clubs he manages to adapt to him and not the other way around. A club like Chelsea will let him do whatever he wants because they've spent the vast majority of their history in mediocrity, and it's a blessing for them to be managed by someone that brings them silverware. An immense club like Madrid, Bayern, etc isn't just going to let a manager change their traditions or look down upon club legends... that's when problems arrise (as seen during his Madrid spell). I think this is one of the reasons SAF didn't choose him as his successor at Man Utd even though he had the chance.

That's why I'm pretty sure he will get sacked after 2-3 more seasons. Abramovich will once again call his playstyle not attractive enough like he did in the previous term
