He was once the world's most expensive player, after his move to Milan when he was only 22 years old. After a great first season there he suffered an almost fatal car accident
He beat all odds by succesfully recovering and returning to the game 2 years later, but he was never the same. He still managed to make a carreer after returning to his beloved Torino, where he shifted between Serie A and B, but that car crash unfortunately made the player that people were expecting would shadow Baggio fall into obscurity.
A real shame.
