i have never heard a german use that term either ^^

but for the movie its a solid name, no problem with that

not a problem at all but that was never the point. i could even imagine it becomes a thing here. and for promo purposes it was actually a clever move to call the movie "die mannschaft" imo.

still won't watch it. haven't watched the 2006 documentary or "das wunder von bern" either...

true, it's a rather onesided "rivalry" i just wanted to be understanding but you're right ofc...

link is dead.

if the rivalry is one sided then it is a German rivalry

The rivalry is considered to be solely an English phenomenon—in the run-up to any competition match between the two teams, many English newspapers will print articles detailing results of previous encounters, such as those in 1966 and 1990. Football fans in England often consider Germany to be their main sporting rivals and care more about this rivalry than those with other nations, such as Argentina or Scotland. Most German fans consider the Netherlands to be their traditional footballing rivals. As of September 2013, Germany holds a narrow lead in victories according to FIFA, with fourteen wins to England's twelve.[1] German fans expect from soccer games with England to see various WWII references in the English tabloid press, the English goalkeepers to fail and field players being weak on penalties. Gary Linekers "Football is a simple game; 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win"[2] is often quoted as well.

these WWII references

I don't think you understand that it is only a few people that would chant WW2 or WW1 things at an England vs Germany game.

You're like 30 years old and rage at pretty much everything, try being more positive and enjoying your real life - it might translate into being reasonably polite on here.

Well, he asked you an appropriate question considering your previous statement. If you dont have arguments you still could accuse him of raging and having a sad real life, oh wait...

BTW: this is a topic about a german movie, if you dont wanna see it or like it, why do you come here? Just to express your jealousy?
