Bunch of dives, lots of Drama in there as well usually
For everyone who watches Soap operas or in general prefers entertainment over the sport itself this is the proper match

In other words: certainly not gonna watch this shit

Yeah because Ronaldo, Messi, Bale, Suarez, Iniesta, Kroos, Modric, Neymar, Ramos, Rodriguez... are just entertainers not real football players. The REAL sport is only played in shit leagues with shit players, amirite?

Andi says: "I watched football before it was cool!"

no one says "die mannschaft" in germany. that just translates to "the team".
we say "die nationalmannschaft" or "die nationalelf" or "die dfb elf" or "das nationalteam".

no offense, just thought i let you know because i've read "die mannschaft" quite frequently the last couple of months...

I know what it translated to, I only say it because it's in your newspaper and over TV. I don't watch it that often, but my dad watches and reads morge german channels and papers about football than Dutch, so he ocosionally let's me read articles.

If I'm mistaken thats fine, but I've never seen die nationalmannschaft before.

No offense taken ofc.

O and for anybody not understanding the rivalry. You're clearly not Dutch or German. Like I'm not from Barcelona and Madrid.

I don't think there is much rivalry anymore
I'm always laughing if neighbours choke of course (and I think so do they about us) but I was cheeering for the dutch in lots of matches during the WC.
The only bigger rivalry is Germany - Italy these days (Germany - Holland was more of a rivalry back when Holland still was a threat for us)
Also:Petty much every dutch player hoped that Germany would win the wc

I didn't see we hate each other. It's just a match neither of us are willing to lose, friendly qualifier world cup final that doesnt make any diffirence.

you're not mistaken at all. as i mentioned before, i've read that a lot lately in newspaper articles and heard it in tv reports.
and yeah, i don't even mind... gramatically it's a correct term and everyone knows what's meant. i just wanted to clarify that it's not what WE call our national team because i had the impression it's a common misconception...

and yeah, i still think netherlands - germany is a great rivalry but over the last two decades it lost a lot of its former seriousness and sting.
mainly because there were and still are so many dutch players in the bundesliga and because western european football has changed a lot (in terms of hooligans and such nonsense)...
