EPL is only interesting to watch because they use more foreign players than local players. Which is why their national team is shit.

Even then, EPL only plays long ball, park the bus style football which gets a tad bit boring but as MGS stated, they have a bigger line-up of interesting games throughout the season than most leagues.

Other teams I would watch in La Liga are Sevilla, Rayo, Villareal, and Real Sociedad. Typically for me, Spanish football seems to have more beauty and touch to the game as opposed to other leagues, which is why its my preference in European football.

tl;dr EPL is a sell out league.

Well yes EPL does have a lot of foreign players which makes it more interesting imo. I'd rather see good Belgium, Bosnian, Serbian, Polish, Ivorian, Ghanaian (etc) players that are relatively 'big names' than seeing home grown Spanish / Italian nobodies play (even though they might be quite good).

But I disagree on the part about EPL being long ball park bus style... Chelsea's the only team that does that and they get hated for it.

Even Stoke is changing that long ball mentality.

Chelsea always do it when they meet another team on their level. So far only City is on Chelsea's level this year which is why they parked the bus.

Look at Chelsea vs Barcelona, Chelsea vs Atletico, Chelsea vs Bayern and you'll catch my drift.

If United were as deadly as SAF era and Liverpool still had Suarez they'd park the bus vs them too, but right now they probably won't need to in order to beat them 2 or 3-0.

Well I mean it's worked well... Look at when we played barca back in 08/09 we didn't really park the bus and we are rewarded with a loss?
Like when madrid parked the bus vs barca when they were the best? XD

Of course it works, its a highly successful tactic if you've got great defense/midfield like Chelsea has. Though it's sort of anti-football.

And the only reason why Chelsea didn't beat Barcelona 5 years ago was the ref. The game that started all of the 'Uefalona' accusations
