Youth systems are needed in England but again, it is irrelevant in judging how good a league is. BPL is the most balanced and fun to watch, it is the #1 league and is watched way more worldwide, especially in emerging markets like America.

I'd rather watch Stoke vs Newcastle than Atletic Bilbao vs Celta Vigo. Watching divers and cheats in El Classico twice a year doesn't make La Liga the best.

what you don't seem to understand is that this thread is not about attractiveness but about the strength of the league. sure, every fanboy will say the other league is bad for this or that reason but objectively (and i already said that i prefer to watch epl) i have to say it's true.
i think no one will deny epl is the most watched league, that'd be silly but #1 usually refers to strength and not to popularity...

You are right, but in this case I think that the BPL's strength leads to its popularity. This season the La Liga was very interesting with the 3 way league challenge. That won't happen again for a long time, you know it and I know it. However the BPL will have at least 3 teams fighting for the title as always and it makes it very interesting to watch. Also the thing about strength is that you guys are looking short term, when Man United were strong 2 seasons ago, no one would have dared to say the BPL was weak. It can change alot from year to year

now you're talking about competitiveness but again, that's not the same as strength. true, thanks to the many foreign investors, there are several clubs who can stay competitive and yes, that makes the league more interesting most of the time but still not stronger. because internationally, premier league teams performed very poorly the last couple of years and that's why i would say primera division is stronger right now...

i'm not saying premier league is bad, don't be ridiculous. i'm just saying la liga is better at the moment...
and when we're really talking football it's also fair to say that chelsea's win was a massive fluke. they were extremely lucky vs. barcelona and in the final too...

I really dont think the success of two teams makes La Liga a better league. We will have to disagree on that. The PL has performed poorly in Europe only in the last 2 seasons, you're pretty quick to judge it

the premier league is a much better league overall, but lol liga has two better top teams

the spanish teams from place 7-8 and behind wouldnt even make the premier league or our bundesliga

of course not
we will see if they can keep it up with their losses

i expect them to perform well with their new striker
super mario B)

if they can play another good season (finish at least third) it will be a three team league ;)

until then the atletico title was a one time thing i am afraid
