In my eyes he is a great defender, he is the best at his central position but he plays RB for the national team, and he does it very well.

He is known for his amazing long passes, they are simply world class. He's a solid defender but doesn't provide much attacking wise.

So basically exactly what City need. Having a partnership of him and Vinny would work well, yes?

One of the biggest positives on Alderweireld is, is that he will fit into any team. If it wasn't for Godin he could have succeeded at Atletico (if he doesn't return there that is)
He would do a great job With Vince next to him, they know eachother from the youth teams and spend alot of their childhoods together.


Also you can be sure he will work for the team, at the age of 12 (or 13) he moved to Amsterdam alone and had to travel 3hours each day to get to training.

Well given some space he has a decent shot or pass, and he is good to have with attacking corners. Allthough I hope he doesnt sign for city.

He can be dangerous, but for the national team he is fored to defend since vertonghen, kompany and vermaelen love to attack
