The club's owner (Robert Sarver, also owner of NBA franchise Phoenix Suns) flew to Mallorca along with his associates to watch the game.

Steve Nash, who is part of our board now, joined the training session yesterday :D

ty guys, we won B)

1-0, against 10 and with an own goal in our favour, but I'll take it

It was a deserved win though. At first we were a bit shaky (probably the pressure due to it being the 100th anniversary), but we were really solid throughout the rest of the game (especialy in defense).

was ez B)

Steve Nash is a cool guy, I've met him a couple times when he was playing in the NBA, whenever he would come to Utah to play my team here, I would always run into him in the city.

well i think they have a certain underdog appeal, that's why.
still, this "dirty" approach is close to gamesmanship sometimes... i know, the end justifies the means and all of that but it's not like this is the only possible option - clubs like freiburg or augsburg were in similar positions and showed there are other ways...

yep, i agree, but of course you need the players for it
freiburg with their awesome youth academy for example

darmstadt is more of a bunch of leftovers formed into a team
if not this season they will be down next year
